Welcome to The Crown, a small pub nestled in the picturesque estuary town of Manningtree. Indulge in our fabulous locally sourced food and savour a range of drinks, including refreshing real ale. With four comfortable bedrooms, we offer a cozy retreat. Our family and dog-friendly establishment features intimate indoor seating, while our spacious garden provides a delightful spot for al fresco dining along the shore of the Stour estuary. Led by our fantastic chef of seven years, we serve scrumptious meals every day of the week. As a ‘local’ pub, we strive to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

This means we can support the businesses in our local community and also minimise the food miles spent, to help our green credentials. Not just that, we’re confident that the quality of our local produce is amongst the best you’ll find, and we can guarantee that we know where all of our ingredients came from.

The Crown welcomes all well-behaved dogs. We have water bowls and treats, and dogs are welcome inside or out. We only ask that they are kept on a lead at all times, for the comfort of others in the pub.
